By accessing, visiting, or playing The Chain, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use The Chain.

CANV LLCThe Chain is a web-based word game. The game may be updated, changed, interrupted, suspended, or discontinued at any time, with or without notice.
We do not guarantee that The Chain will always be available, error-free, secure, uninterrupted, or compatible with every device, browser, or internet connection.
The Chain is a general-audience game and is not specifically directed to children under 13.
By using The Chain, you represent that you are legally able to agree to these Terms. If you are using The Chain on behalf of another person or entity, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms on their behalf.
If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you should use The Chain only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.
The Chain does not currently require users to create an account, submit an email address, create a username, or provide profile information to play.
If we add accounts, usernames, leaderboards, paid features, user submissions, or other features in the future, we may update these Terms.
You agree not to misuse The Chain. You may not:
We reserve the right to block, restrict, or terminate access to The Chain if we believe a user has violated these Terms or misused the game.
The Chain, including its name, design, gameplay format, text, graphics, layout, software, code, branding, logos, and other content, is owned by CANV LLC or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property and other laws.
You may play The Chain for personal, non-commercial use only.
Nothing in these Terms gives you ownership of The Chain or any related intellectual property.
You may not copy, clone, resell, modify, publish, distribute, or create derivative works based on The Chain without our prior written permission.
If you send us feedback, suggestions, ideas, bug reports, or other comments about The Chain, you agree that we may use them without restriction or compensation to you.
You understand that we may already be working on similar ideas, and your submission does not create any ownership right, payment right, confidentiality obligation, or other obligation for CANV LLC.
Your use of The Chain is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and handle information.

The Chain may use or link to third-party services, websites, tools, or platforms. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services, websites, content, policies, or practices.
Your use of third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
We may modify, update, suspend, remove, or discontinue any part of The Chain at any time, with or without notice.
We are not liable to you or anyone else for any change, interruption, suspension, or discontinuation of The Chain.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CANV LLC disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, security, and error-free operation.
We do not guarantee that The Chain will meet your expectations, produce any particular result, be free of bugs, or remain available at all times.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CANV LLC and its owners, members, employees, contractors, agents, service providers, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, loss of goodwill, service interruption, device issues, or other losses arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, The Chain.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CANV LLC's total liability for any claim arising out of or related to The Chain or these Terms will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CANV LLC and its owners, members, employees, contractors, agents, service providers, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or related to:
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or The Chain will be handled in the state or federal courts located in New York, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page.
Your continued use of The Chain after updated Terms are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
